16 oz can. Enjoyed at Petco Park before the San Francisco Giants faced the San Diego Padres. Flavor of soft honey, weak minerals and lager yeast. Light body and crisp. Pretty clean finish.
Stay classy San Diego !!

Can (5/9/24) from Total Wine & More, W. Hollywood. Dark brown/mahogany with small head with excellent retention and nice lacing. Aroma is hint of fruit, mild cinnamon over weak caramel malt, vague nut and cardboard. Taste follows aroma. Smooth, frothy texture, soft carbonation and finish as taste. Base brown ale seems to be obscured, rather than highlighted, by other aromas/flavors. Appreciate the new brewery tick but this one is confused and confusing.

Draft at hotel bar excited or another new brewery tick. Muddled brown minimal head. Not most appealing looking. Nose is some earth and chocolate but mostly nada. Tastes watery, some walnut, cocoa, earth, cardboard. Semi sweet. Eh

Pour is a dark brown almost black with a small mocha head. Aroma is a decent roasted malt, coffee and dark chocolate. Flavor is more roasted malt and bitter bakers chocolate. Super thin body for a brown ale and the finish has a decent bitter kick. Pretty good brown ale that does not end up being heavy and filling.

Pour is a cloudy yellow with a large white head. Aroma is peach and apricot fruity. Flavor is the same fruitiness with a pretty decent hit of sweetness. Nice fruity hop flavor overall, this is just a bit to sweet.

Pour is a clear gold with a large white head. Aroma is crackery dry malt with maybe a hint of lemon. Flavor is pretty much the same. Dry cracker malt a little lemon/lime and with a touch of sweetness. Pretty standard Mexican style lager.

Crisp golden coloured body with a very thin, just off-white head and a ton of bubbles that rise from the bottom. Aroma of crisp grass, citrus, a lot of resin and pine and a soft, but noticeable alcohol pungency. Medium-bodied;Β  Strong and rich malt backbone that shows the pine and grass front and centre with a lot of alpha acids and bitterness at the end with a ton of citrus that really make this feel like a West Coast IPA throughout. Aftertaste Is deep and very bittering with a lot of citrus, pine, resin and especially floral notes which dominate. Aftertaste shows some grassy and especially bitter hop characteristics throughout this one with a lot of bitterness, alpha acids and a good citrus twang. Overall, a nice and decidedly West Coast IPA that shows nice and robust without being cloying. Great to have alongside an amazing Hodad's burger and of course, the ambiance. I sampled this sixteen ounce pint on draught at the Downtown location in San Diego, California on 31-January-2020 for US$7,00.
