On tap at the pre-premiere at Mali Medo Tkalča. Hazy yellow/orange coloured, medium to big sized creamy white head, quite fruity nose. Fruity (oranges) and spicy (coriander dominates) with mild fruity acidity in the finish. Let’s say some mix of styles but to be honest very good mix indeed. Highly drinkable summer beer. Keep it up.

0.33 on tap in Medvedgrad, Ilica, Zagreb. Hazy yellow to orange, medium creamy white head. Cellar aroma, yeast, dusty, fruity. Light body, some banana notes, seems like a weizen. Light aftertaste. Easily drinkable and refreshing.

At the pre-premiere @Mali Medo. Lovely opaque orange body with a creamy white head - not to style, but fuck it, we aren’t rating to style here. Good, fruity, lean aroma, sweetish, with a subdued yet fresh citric note and slightly dusty. Coriander? Some. Slightly lactic. Taste.... Sweet, slightly fruity taste - esters like banana.... this is actually somewhere between Belgian and German... umm Lëtzebuergesch Wit? How witty I am... Citric undertones, peach, slightly lactic, very light bubblegum. Immensely, supremely drinkable. Wow... again, this likely wouldn’t pass testing to style, but on its own, it’s by all means, undoubtedly, a superb beer.

Tap, a bit warmer than preferred. Pours hazy Amber, large creamy beige head, nice lacing. Aroma is pretty basic pine, some bread and caramel. Flavor is light plus sweet, medium bitter, kind of a British styled IPA. Nothing spectacular, but solid in its simplicity.

50cl bottle at Ro&Do pours a mostly clear amber with some rocky, off white head. Nose is cheap, stale bread, under attenuated malt, smells like adjuncts. Flavor is the same, cheap malt, cheap fruit, some rotting plums. Odd finish. Bad.

This was my favorite beer from Medvegrad since 2004., rating it only now. Dark brown with orange tint, off white to tan lasting head. Lagerish aroma, hay and malt, hints of roast in the background. Roasty character, malty, caramel, nuts and some chocolate in the finish. Medium carbonation, medium body. A proper example of style.

Tap at the brewery. Quite good APA, falls short of IPA both in aroma and flavour. Hazy orange colour. Aroma fruity, hoppy, garlicy. Taste is fruity, resiny, garlic, oranges. Good beer, just not your typical IPA.
