Cloudy gold with a decent white head. Light peach esters. Light peach notes, touch of pepper and fairly bitter. Esters are in check and a dry finish.

On tap at Thistle Draftshop. Pours a cloudy gold with small white head. The aroma is strong dough, wheat, cereal malt. Slick body, dough, cereal, watery finish, not much going on with this one.

Bottle. Pours a near clear dull gold with a white head that dissipates to the edges. Aroma has a combination of grass, dank citrus and onion with a light earthy grain backbone. Flavor has earthy citrus and onion with some grass and light biscuit underlying.

A 500 ml bottle I bought at the local craft beer store several weeks ago, the label shows a born-on date of 10/27/20. Lone Pint has stepped up previously with me, time to see if that continues. I have my Buffalo Bayou snifter arrayed, the pour is an inviting yellow-gold topped with a tremendous head of arctic white foam. I lift for a smell and get pine and varnish. A drink now, a surprisingly strong hop forward presence followed by lemon, grass, grapefruit, pine cones and a touch of sweetness. Firmly bitter which I like. A lot of impact with only a 6.6% abv. Lone Pint comes through again, seems to be a pattern here.

The 16.9 oz bottle I have of Tornado Shark states on the label that it has 37 IBUs and an abv of 8.1%. No date of bottling is indicated, but I did make the purchase at The Cellar in Odessa a couple of months ago. I make the pour into a shaker glass to see a rather hazy, reddish brown liquid, steady carbonation and a persistent taupe brown head. There is a scent of biscuit, grain and a touch of caramel. A drink finally, not bad. I get the impression of a charged amber ale. Heavy with the malt, some hoppiness, grain again, a little bit of toffee sweetness and funk. I am pleasantly surprised by it all.

A not-your-normal shaped, 16.9 oz bottle purchased at The Cellar in Odessa. Using my New Belgium snifter this evening, the pour is a clearish, yellow-gold body covered by a thin skim of mostly white foam. I get a scent of pine, varnish and grass. The drink is pretty good, pine needles, sweet citrus, resin and water. A nice intro to a new brewery.

I possess this 500 ml bottle of Yellow Rose that was purchased at the preferred bottle shop in Odessa. Looking forward to this first try with this Texas brewery, I have my large New Belgium snifter out for this one. The liquid is an opaque, light yellow liquid topped with a glorious snow white head. The nose seems to be that of a fairly old-schoolish IPA, pine cones, grass and a bit of citrus. The taste is pretty decent, Lemon, grapefruit, turpentine, resin and spring water. Nicely refreshing, I wish I was trying it in the middle of the summer. Nice representation of the style.
