A pint from the cask on my visit to the brewpub in April 2019. A golden colour with a white head. A decent level of hops with cereal & earthy notes. A really nice pint.

A pint from the cask at the brewpub on my visit in April 2019. A dark amber ale with citrus & hops. My least favourite of the 3 beers I've tried

Bottle shared by Grumbo. Aroma is piney, coffee, roasted malts, chocolate and fruit. Very good body allows the aroma to develop through. Roasted coffee bitterness developed very nicely. A great example of this type of beer.

Bottle shared by Grumbo. Aroma is citrus, lemongrass, grassy, orange and grain. Decent body that turned watery over time. Minimal carbonation. Bitterness coming through at the finish.

Bottle shared by Grumbo. Aroma is citrus, orange, floral, malty and caramel. Decent body but became carbonated that detracted a bit. Good bitter finish.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 14/09/24. Almost clear orange golden with a just off white cap that soon thins to the edge. Nose is orange peel, herb, straw, toasted grains, light floral notes. Taste comprises grass, orange, herb, straw, melon, bitter sweet aspects. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close spiked with mellow hop bitterness. Low grade IPA ... 'bursting with' I think the trade descriptions people need a follow up on that!

500ml bottle [courtesy of Grumbo - cheers Graham!]. Quasi black colour with minimalyl late awakening, average to huge, thick, dense, creamy, moderately to mostly lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Roasty, chocolately, dark malty and fruity, slightly resinous, hoppy aroma, notes of dark chocolate, dark berries, some couverture, dark berry jam, a touch of morello, sweaty overtones. Taste is roasty, minimally ashy, dark malty and slightly fruity hoppy, notes of dark chocolate, Belgian chocolate, dry cocoa, hints of dark berries; more roasty than hoppy bitterness, minimally metallic overtones. Minimally creamy, watery texture, smooth and soft, simultaneously dry palate, very fine, dense, creamy carbonation. Well crafted, in a way more hoppy Stout than BIPA - good.

Panda at home, thanks to Graham Grumbo, 21/07/24. Moderately hazed golden orange with a thin white cap that dissipates to a swirl. Nose is orange zest, grass, tangerine, melon. Taste comprises orange peel, citric tinged straw, grass, melon. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a mellow grass laden bitter edge. Passable pale ... a rather basic offering but drinkable none the less.
