Virginia Beer Freeverse IPA 6.8% I wasn’t expecting a honey orange gold with a thick head and big juicy aroma of tangy orange. Medium bodied and pretty smooth with lots of pithy orange peel with a bitter green herbal hoppiness as well.

Not as bad as I imagined it would be but that's about the best thing the beer has going for it. Candy cane, nutmeg and some roast. Black pour with ok head and lacing. Bitter, tangy and candy sweet finish. Can from Brew Shop advent calendar.

Virgins Beer I voted Today Double dry-hopped APA 5% Opaque straw gold with a dense head of foam. It has a great hop bouquet that is citrusy and tropical with mild woodsy notes. The smooth medium body delivers. One of the better hoppy beers I’ve had from Virginia Beer co. Also FYI apparently a ward in Tokyo is looking at giving PR the vote in local elections… maybe I’ll be able to vote again someday.

Pint can, WW. Clear deep gold with an off-white head. Orange peel, pine, tropical fruit nose. Citrus peel, pine, resin, onion. The onion flavor is a bit off-putting, otherwise this would be quite good.
