Seems viscous, with a heady mix of orange marmalade, caramel, honey, and a firm vein of pine on the back end. Rough around the edges, with some wort-ish notes and slack carbonation. Okay.

Odd pint. Not getting a whole lot of dubbel out of the mix, but the coffee is prominent against a rather dry amber ale, with yeasty undertones and lingering java roast in the finish. Not too shabby, but I’d never guess it to be Belgian-inspired.

Stubby 12fl oz can brought back from Waynesville USA by a friend. Pours a lovely golden straw colour with a big bubbly head. Taste is grain, malt and a bit sweet. Nice smooth mouthfeel.
