Taster at the Lincoln Fill Station. Pours a clear, bronze color, with an average, frothy, white head. The aroma is pine sap, rose water, light caraway, and dried grapefruit. Sweet and malty, with a sticky, sharp bitterness. Medium body, slick, and hard. Aggressive, resinous, and pretty tasty.

Enjoyable amber lager, with a solid base of toasted corn, biscuit, and a touch of honey, followed by a mild citric tint and a gentle floral bitterness on the finish. Solid example of a hard-to-like style.

Rough going here. Weird banana-ish sweetness mixed with wort and straw. Finishes with an unpleasant fruity undertone and a lingering bitterness too assertive for the style. Not good.

Not bad, possibly a bit long in the tooth for a β€œjuicy” beer, but still a good pint. Modest notes of pineapple, papaya, grapefruit, and peach, along with a little toasted grain and caramel from the malts. Finishes with a touch of pine bitterness.

Straightforward, basic IPA, very old school, with a base of caramel malt tinged with biscuit, followed by moderate notes of grapefruit, orange rind, and tropical fruits, with a deep, lengthy pine bitterness on the back end. Doesn’t break the mold, but a decent pint.
