Description
Goldwater Brewing Co. began with a family tradition of brewing, rooted in Chad and Dillon McClelland’s childhood experiences with their father, Greg, an avid home brewer since 1986. What started as a hobby in their garage evolved into a shared passion, leading to the establishment of a 10bbl brewery with three locations.

The turning point came when Chad, inspired by his travels through craft beer scenes worldwide, decided to turn their family passion into a professional endeavor. With full support from Greg, Dillon, and their brother-in-law, Jimmy, the family set out to build their dream. After months of planning, experimenting, and overcoming challenges, Goldwater Brewing Co. officially opened its doors on May 1, 2015.

Their success stems from the combined strengths of each member: Greg’s business acumen, Chad’s brewing expertise, Dillon’s creative vision, and Jimmy’s operational skills. Together, they’ve built a brand known for quality, innovation, and community. As they continue to grow and introduce new, exciting beers, the family remains committed to their roots and the people who have supported them from the start.

Cheers to the future of fresh, local craft beer!

32oz crowler pours with a hazy near opaque glowing gold to slightly copper hued body that supports a thin off white head of foam. The modest aroma offers up tangerine, grapefruit, a faint mango to lime sort of sensation. The taste delivers juicy and moderately bitter grapefruit, tangerine and mango. This is working well as the flavor profile switches between bitter, juicy and soft and then flowing into a mild cracker like maltiness. Solid brew with supreme crushability.

32oz crowler pours with a murky nearly clear copper gold body that supports a nice light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up orange, tangelo, some thin herbal grassiness and then a brief sense of bready malts. The taste delivers juicy and bitter orange and tangelo citrus hoppiness running quickly into bitter hop pine and grassy notes. To midway modest sweet malts bubble to the surface. Pretty nice balanced IPA with plenty of depth for the low level if ABV.

32oz crowler pours with a crystal clear pure gold body that supports a full light tan head of foam that leaves behind some spotty lacing. The blended aroma offers up grapefruit, cantaloupe, papaya and a berry sensation. The taste delivers an integrated hoppy front with both flavor and bitter hops balanced and in a degree of harmony. I get softer guava, papaya and cantaloupe mingling with grapefruit, lychee and a tangy tangelo and citrus peel sensation. To midway there is a brief mild malty cracker sensation that creates another tasty facet to the experience. Solid crushable west coast IPA.

Poured up on tap at Tipsy Cactus where it exhibits a hazy opaque dull gold body that supports a thin white head of foam. the aroma offers up brown sugar, cantaloupe and then mango and guava. The taste delivers a blend of juicy mango and guava with notes of brown sugar dusted citrus. This is pretty good.

Pint can pours with a murky hazy dull copper gold body that supports a nice fairly tight light tan head of foam. The aroma offers up mango, guava, tangerine and then thin grapefruit. The taste delivers an initial hit of pillowy soft mango and guava before becoming more tangy and modestly bitter with tangerine, papaya and more guava as well as grapefruit like bitterness. To midway it picks up a thin yet pleasing oat sensation as the medley of tropical fruitiness sorts itself out. Nice arrangement of flavors.
