Bottle split at Bespin, thanks to Leighton, 19/09/16. Clear golden orange with a decent off white head. Nose is orange wine gums, straw, marmalade, grass, toasted bread, sweet tunes. Taste comprises orange pith, tangerine, straw, soft bread, melon, apricot jam. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, drying close with light hop bitterness. Ok but lower end for style, ovelry sweet and lacking hops.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the London Brewers’ Market. Pours clear gold, highly effervescent, with a billowing, frothy white head. There are some off lemony notes in the nose, wheat, hay, apple. Light sweet flavour with subtle funky notes, mild lemony tang, crispy wheat, hay, slight grass. Light bodied with lively carbonation. Lightly drying on the finish, with more lemony tang, wheaty sweetness, faint melon, grass, pale grain, hay. So, it would seem this one has a mild infection. Not the end of the world, though, as the beer is probably the better for it.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the London Brewers Market. Pours deep brown with a creamy, mocha head. Moderate roast in the nose, some old coffee grounds, ash. Light to medium sweet flavour with some sugary milk chocolate, a faint metallic note, some ashy minerality, dried berries, leather. Light bodied with soft carbonation; the condition is lacking. Finishes with a little acrid cocoa, old coffee, subtle burnt rubber, earthy bitterness. A bit rough overall.

Keg at the London Brewers Market July 2016. Pours unclear gold with a creamy, white head. Big brett in the nose, some poo, leather, farm yard. Light sweet flavour with more rustic notes, manure, ripe orange, some rindy bitterness, baby diapers. Medium bodied and mostly flat. Lightly warming on the finish with further poopy brett character, more farm, old leather. Novel, I will give it that.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the London Brewers Market. Pours lightly hazy gold, effervescent, with a frothy, white head. The nose has some grainy pale malts, hints of berries, golden raisins. Light to medium sweet flavour with a moderate dose of buttered white bread, straw, meringue. Light bodied with massaging carbonation. Faint bitter tangerine peel in the finish, more subtly buttery notes, doughy pale bread, light bitter straw. A faint hint of ashy dryness in the aftertaste. So so.
