200ml draught at Tromsø Mikrobryggeri. Deep black body, almost naked at the surface, scattered lacing. Smoothly roasted dark malty aromas, promising. Quite rich taste of earthy chocolate malts, hints of dried fruits and a backdrop of coffee. Roasted, rather sweet dark malty ending, long lived. Decent sipper qualities. (Tromsø, 09.04.2025).

hazy orange colour, one inch of creamy ecru-ish head; aroma of intensive resiny-hoppy, piney, marmalade, grapefruity and some grape notes; taste of resiny-hoppy bitterness with the same notes as can be felt in the aroma; OH-YEAH!

Golden with a white head. Cereal grain, light fruitiness, a bit herbal. Medium body with light hop bitterness in the finish. A tasty, yet muted IPL.

Dark orange with a tall, foamy white head. Plenty of spice notes in the aroma but something about how they come together is really off-putting to me- almost like sick. Not so bad in the flavor arena- spicy, coriander, fruit notes. finish has some yeast spice. Ah, I wouldn't go here again.

Golden orange with a white head. Light notes of citrus, cereal grain, toasted malt, lightly sweet, floral. Every note in this beer is light or muted. It’s fine enough but just not really what I’d call a WCIPA since it’s all very … reserved.

Black with a tall tan head. Dry powdered cocoa, earthy, dark roasted malts, some burnt malt, minimal sweet notes. Medium, smooth body. Finish is dry with plenty of roasted notes. A bit of booze is noticeable but not distracting. Really solid stout.

440 mL can, at the Forteleza Cafe in Funchal, Madiera. Pours an unclear, bright yellow, with a small, white head. The aroma is apricot, grapefruit, quinine, rosemary, and juniper. Sweet and juicy, with a bright, musty bitterness. Medium body, acidic, and a bit astringent. Crisp, aromatic, delicious.
