Bomber bottle from St. Nicholas, bought during August 21 Eclipse Weekend. So these guys probably have many more Single Batch releases that never get on RateBeer. But here's one. Dark brown pour, just a thin ring of foam. Smell is a pleasingly light note of molasses and aromatic malt. The taste has more molasses cookie to it, as well as a touch of raisin. I get some yeast in the glass, but that's the only distraction I can find. Warming alcohol, sweet malts offset by a touch of bitterness. Mild effervescence. Alcohol is just warm enough to be noticed after half the bottle is down.

22 oz. bottle, pours a cloudy dark amber brown with a small off-white head. Aroma is full of toasted caramel malt, bready malt, and earthy notes. Flavour is fairly earthy, with toasted caramel, bready malt, and earthy notes. A bit of cardboard, with a toasted bready finish. By no means a complex beer, but it's decent.

650ml bottle at Alex's. Vintage 2017. Pours a bit hazy copper with a tan head. Aroma is malty, slightly sweet, malty, some dark fruits, a bit veggie. Taste is similar, boozy, moderately to high sweet with fruity and roasted malt notes, hoppy bitter. An ok one.

Hazy, medium brown. Light brown. There's some bubblegum on the nose, with some light caramel. Fairly bitter. Rich, toffee, and caramelly. It's a bit husky, and a little caramel, too. There's a touch of raisiny fruitiness in there as well, finishing with a blast of alcohol.

On tap at St. Nicholas, pours a deep dark reddish brown with a medium tan head. Aroma brings out medium toasted malt and some toasted nuts. Flavour is similar, with dark roasted nuts and toasted nuts. Fairly nice depth to this, though the body is still weak and watery, even for the style. Decent brown.

On tap at St. Nicholas, pours a cloudy dark amber brown with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out bready malt and a hint of toasted caramel, very slight bitterness too. Flavour is laid back and subtle, with bready malt and light bittering hops. Not a whole lot going on here even for the style. Needs more oomph.

On tap at St. Nicholas, pours a clear golden with a medium white foamy head. Aroma brings out light citrus hops and dry toasted biscuity malt. Flavour is similar, with tart citrus notes and dry biscuity malt. Not really feeling this - the citrus is a bit muffled and off. Okay.
