Mild bitterhed. Mer interessant en egentlig god.

Can. Color: Bit hazy golden, frothy white head. Aroma: Malt, spicy yeast. Taste: Malty with subtle spicy and peppery Kveik yeast notes, hints of stone fruit and juniper berries. Hay, grass notes. Moderate sweet, light to moderate bitter and very light sourish hints. Pretty long lasting finish. Dry-ish mouthfeel. Medium body, average carbonation. Easy drinkable, like a pilsener style with a nice Norwegian twist. Very nice.

500 ml can, Cardinal Pub & Bar, Stavanger. ABV is 4.7%. Ingredients include kandij sugar and juniper berries. English hops, kveik from Nordfjord. Slightly hazy golden colour, moderate white head. Interesting fruity aroma of kveik and yellow plums, hints of juniper berries. Light bodied, as expected. Fruity notes and yellow plums again in the flavour, hints of juniper berries, very moderate earthy hops. Amazingly tasty.

330ml bottle, marked Kveik, beer gift from Frau Eva. A yellow-green coloured body, near-clear. Low white head, spotty lacing. Slightly smoked aroma with juniper and fruity notes. Spiced fruity flavours hints of wood and integrated kveik. Bittersweet, lingering ending. Mouth filling. Pretty nice. (Tromsø 30.04.2019).

Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Clear golden with white head. Buttery malts, glycerine, sour dough, juniper, peppery, yeasty. Bit sickly greasy and strange, light sweet and bitter, with a spicy and crass dry edge, and a hint of apple vinegar. Medium body and soft carbonation. Weird stuff. Strange experience. Not very special in taste but it has a unique mouthfeel experience. Like sucking up the smushy parts of the bogbody. --- Beer merged from original tick of Kveik on 08 Apr 2019 at 21:37 - Score: 6

Clear golden with white head. Sweet malts, light apricot pits, soft flowers, juniper, spruce, soft flowers and toilet freshener spray. Creamy, even some yoghurt, a touch of ash and rubber. Medium sweet and bitter. Over medium bodied with slick feel and very puckering mouthfeel with is surprising as it doesn’t taste sour. Interesting but not great.
