Tap at Dobrý trh. Orange golden color. Strong pear aroma with notes of vanilla. Taste, sweet pear, vanilla. Easy drinkable, but nothing special.

Basement Beer Bar 160116. Golden colour with a white head. Aroma and flavour is citrus, apple, apricot, pear, yeast, sugar. Plane flavours , but it works.

On tap at Basement Beer Bar. A clear pale golden cider with a thin white head. The aroma is almost pear like, with yellow apples, some white sugar and a faint hoppy touch. It’s medium bodied, a bit sweet, and with a nice carbonation. Yellow apples, pears and white sugar and a piney hoppy touch. Long finish with yellow apples and a little hoppy touch. Nice indeed, but I’d prefer less sweetness and more hops. 160116

330ml bottle, from trade with Werckmeister - many thanks! Pours clear gold with small wispy head. Great label artwork. Aroma is sweet apple laces, slightly artificial, some mushy pulp. Taste is quite crisp, some sweet sparkling apple juice notes blending with some breezy passionfruit. It reminds me of the German sparkling apple juice that I used to pick up at Autobahn rasthofs, but the Galaxy notes kind of smooth things out to a more pleasant, fruitier drinkable character. Still too sweet for another but a plus point for the dry-hopping.

Where: RBESG 15 Grand Tasting.
Appearance: Clear golden colour with a small white head.
Aroma: Apple juice, sugar, some vanilla.
Body: Medium body, low carbonation.
Flavour: Sweet apple juice, yeast, fruit. No hint of alcohol at all.

Draught. Dark yellow colour. Moderate apple and lime aroma. Light swet and semidry apple flavor. Some citrus/lime notes. Average finish. Slightly acetic. Oily palate. Strange cider but OK.

Bottle split at the RBESG ’15 Grand Tasting, Taphouse CPH day 4, 23/08/15. Clear light golden blonde topped with a decent off swirl. Nose is apple pulp, sweet tones, vanilla icing, sugar. Taste comprises toffee apple, peach notes, apricot, straw. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close. Decent cider.
