330ml bottle. Sweet and spicy with some almonds and marzipan, hints of ripe fruits. A bit unbalanced

(Bottle, 0.33 l, thanks VastActiv, at Arde, 20221021) The beer poured golden and hazy. Its head was medium sized and white. Aroma had sweetness, fruitiness, honey and soap. Palate was medium bodied with medium carbonation. Flavours were grass, sweetness, fruitiness, sweetness, soap and bitterness. Aftertaste was spicy and bitter. A rather weird take on tripel.

Fles gedeeld met Roelzie en Keukeman. Het is een licht troebel oranje bruin bier met een medium witte schuimkraag. Het heeft een kruidige geur. De smaak is vol, warm, kruidig met tonen van jeneverbes.

Can. Hazy amber, small pale tan head. Palate is light and semi dry, decent fine carbonation. The malts have a thin mouthfeel but are creamy sweet and with a decent amount of caramel. Some burned sugar. The vanilla also feels a little thin. Some ripe fruits on the back end. Light dry finish. It's okay but it doesn't come over like the luxurious indulgent barleywine that you might think it should be.

Clear blond beer, no head. Aroma: weird, very spicy, fruity, apples, apple skin, sourish impression, what is this? MF: ok carbon, medium body. Taste: sweet start, very oxidized, wort, sweet, is this a non alcoholic beer?? Aftertaste: malty, grains, hay, unpleasant, sweet wort, metallic, meh, really don’t like this one...
