Bottle at home shared with Laura. Opaque dark brown to black color, medium sized light brown colored head. Aroma and flavor are malts, roasty a bit, light liquor notes, malty bitter. Hmm not a bad beer but a quadrupel? Not in my book.

Bottle at home shared with Laura. Very weird color for a quadrupel: opaque black color, full sized light brown colored head. Did they mislabel this? Okay, aroma: malts, earthy, iron. Flavor is malts, roasted malts, pretty bitter, a bit dusty iron notes. Hmm odd and to be honest, totally not a quadrupel. An average stout at best, but probably not even that.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Very dark brown with a beige head. Dark caramel aroma with dried plums, raisins and dark malts. Sweet taste with a sweet finish. Very well made quadrupel.

33 cl. bottle @ home, bought @ van Rooij, Culemborg. Dutch brewery #580. Hazy golden with a white head. Orange and malt aroma. Sweet taste with a medium bitter finish. Smooth and fulfilling.
