On draft at Alkies in a shaker pint

Pours clear yellow with a finger of white foamy head, settling to a ring that leaves light lace

Aroma is very clean, light honey and biscuit malts, slight grassy lemony citrus notes.

Taste is straw, honey, crackery malts with a bit of floral, and grassy hop notes. A slight metallic twang with a fair amount of bitterness.

Light bodied with a moderate prickly carbonation leads into a medium finish with a good amount of bitterness

Overall it's an easy drinking lager and I appreciate the hop flavor and bitterness but if probably reach for something else next time. Kind of missing that snappy crisp finish to really get into pilsener ground.

Reviewed from notes.
Can to becher glass.
Appearance: dark amber color with a light transparency about it and a finger and a half's wor3th of white foamy head which dissipated nicely to leave some light lace
Aroma: citrusy/grassy and a little of piney hops, light honey and a slight caramel/toffee malt backbone
Flavor: copies the aromas fairly nice with a slight sweet to semi-bittersweet quality; lingering finish of the honey, caramel malts and a little bit of the piney hops
Texture: light to medium bodied, sessionable; some smoothness and a little bit of hop assertiveness but really not that much at all
Overall: nice enough APA with some honey in it, it's an easy drinker.

Poured from a can dated 12/22/25 into a becher pint glass

Appearance. Pours a hazy to murky yellow orange with a slick pillowy white head that dissipates into a thin cover that leaves minimal lacing.

Aroma. Orange and ruby red grapefruit peel dominate the aroma with some over ripe pineapple sneaking in the end.

Flavor. Tends to follow the aroma. Citrus peel, overripe pineapple and pine lead way to a fairly bitter finish.

Texture. Rather prickly on the tongue, light in body. Feels a bit thin for what it is.

Overall it's a run of the mill neipa, one of the better hex and hops beers I've had but doesn't stand out in a saturated hazy/neipa world. It really lacks a punch and is lacking oomph across the board.

Can to becher pint glass.
Appearance: dark amber close to mahogany/brown-ish color with a two finger white foamy head which took it's time to dissipate, light messy lace
Aroma: so much spruce, I wasn't really able to come up with much else other than the spruce tree itself which makes sense after the woodiness which came in
Flavor: bitter spruce needles for days, slight stiff caramel malt, hey go figure - a spruce aftertaste who would have thought
Texture: long bitterness slaying my tongue into submission - my tongue is a slave now, I can't really tell the level of body in this, maybe somewhere between light and medium?
Overall: maybe AB/Inbev should buy this brewery and make this beer worse than what these guys did to it.

Can to snifter.
Appearance: black in color with a quickly dissipating head that didn't leave any lace
Aroma: light coffee roasty sweetness and some dark malts
Flavor: pretty much the same as above aromas, quick aftertaste of the coffee sweetness
Texture: medium bodied? I think. Hmmmm, might be a little bit under. Somewhat sessionable with the word I try hard not to say but ... gulp ... - I'll just say it - "watery"
Overall: this beer needs a lot of work.

Can to tulip.
Appearance: dark copper color with a two finger off white foamy head which slid off at a decent pace
Aroma: strong amounts of honey over shadowing some citrusy to grassy and piney hops, not much malt that seemed super faint
Flavor: leads with the honey and keeps the hops super muted, so it stay sweets; honey aftertaste with muted hops
Texture: medium bodied, somewhat a sipper; fairly smooth; finishes with the honey
Overall: I added this to Brewver as a DIPA because that is what the brewer says this beer is supposed to be; however, if it was up to me it's a straight up honey beer. Again for me? Hmmmm...well, maybe if handed one and I couldn't find much else.
