Deep black color with no foam. Looks thick coming out of the tap. Aroma is mild hot peppers. Flavor is mild bitter coffee of a stout with a nice level of bourbon, sweetness and spiciness. Nice mild hot pepper burn that lingers.

Willebecher draft pour at Lawrence Beer Co West in Lawrence, Kansas. The pour is a golden soft copper with a white foamy head that falls fast with great lace. The aroma is bright citrus, citrus rind and pine bitterness. The taste is the bright citra, pineapple and the pine bitterness. The palate is medium bodied with soft carbonation and a bone dry bitter finish. Solid.

Nice Schwarz.

On tap at Lawrence Beer Co, pours a cloudy dark amber orange with a small off-white head. Aroma brings out plenty of caramel bready malt, along with clove, cinnamon and nutmeg in good cohesion. Flavour is spicy and malty, with plenty of the aforementioned Xmas spices, caramel malt, and bready malt. Tastefully done for what it is, but it's too much of a spice bomb for me.

On tap at Lawrence Beer Co, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out bright resinous hops, light pine, and sweet biscuity malt. Flavour has a nice resinous hop character, with some pine, sticky stone fruits, and a sweet biscuity malt base. Balanced well, with a clean hop expression of resins and stone fruit. Very good.

On tap at Lawrence Beer Co, pours a clear dull golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out gentle bugs upfront, with subtle rustic notes — little detection of the wine barrels. Flavour is dry and buggy, with plenty of wild yeast, subtle fruitiness and subtle vinous notes. Crunchy, dry and a bit gritty. The yeast character is nice, but I think it needs a little work. Pleasant.

On tap at Lawrence Beer Co, pours a fairly clear golden blonde with a small white head. Aroma brings out lots of rustic saison yeast, some bugs, some lacto, and plenty of peaches. Flavour is peachy, with plenty of lacto, rustic saison yeast, and floral notes. Not all that authentic, but it's got a nice yeast profile and fruit character. Very good.

On tap at Lawrence Beer Co, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out lots of bourbon barrels, coffee and charred oak. Flavour is rich, with plenty of bourbon upfront still, accentuated by coffee and charred oak. The coffee adds a nice roasty character to this, balancing out the booziness. Again, Wild Turkey ain't the best, but they manage to get a lot of good out of it. Very good.
