On tap at The Seventh Tap, pours black with a large brown head. Aroma is complex and rich, with plenty of bourbon barrel character upfront, with light vanilla, roast and a touch of caramel. Flavour is rich, with a nice bourbon barrel character that works nicely on top of the roasted malt, caramel and chocolate. The barrels definitely lift this up from being a good beer to a great beer. Good job, Heaven Hill.

On tap at The Seventh Tap, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma brings out dark cocoa, oats, a touch of coffee, and medium roast. Flavour is rich, with oats, medium roast and some caramel. Balanced well, though unnecessarily boozy. It needs more depth and complexity to justify this ABV. It's pleasant for what it is.

On tap at The Seventh Tap, pours a cloudy bright orange and it's a small white head. Aroma brings out zesty cucumber skins, light salt, and some citrus. Flavour is quite tart, with lots of sour cucumber, some saltiness, and a bit of citrus. Tart, briny and not really on point for the style. It's fine but needs work.

On tap at The Seventh Tap, pours a clear golden with a small white head. Aroma brings out tons of pickle brine, saline and tart citrus. Flavour is very briny and pickle-y, like I'm drinking pickle juice, salt, and citrus. It's fun but it's ridiculous.

On tap at The Seventh Tap, pours an opaque yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out some chalk, stone fruit pith, and some citrus hops. Flavour is very bitter, with plenty of diacetyl — oh god — pronounced citrus bitterness and some chalk. Wow, chalk AND diacetyl. That's impressive to do an IPA this flawed.

Draft at the taproom. Pours black with a thin dirty tan head. Aroma is cinnamon, cocoa, boozy dried fruit, molasses. Taste is cocoa, cinnamon, boozy dried fruit, molasses, hint of coffee. Nicely balanced with right amount of cinnamon. Good stuff
