Pint at the Roost.  Dark, cola brown, creamy off white head.  Very much looks the part.  Nose is earthy, malt, brown bread, dried leaves, some tea.  Big tea vibes in the mouth.  Astringent and tannic.  Malt and brown sugar.  Medium bodied.  A little bitterness.  Above average.  8 7 7 7 7

Pours hazy yellow with ok head. Light tang in the finish. Not a lot of character or personality, but some hop tang which is weird in a golden ale. Tap at Snally.

Pours orange with only a few soap bubbles. Finsihes with light bitterness, a little oak. Fairly pedestrian but good for style. Snally.

Pour at Snallygaster 2025. Poured a kind of murky brown color, caramel colored beer, small white head. Aroma was light toasted malt, sweet malt. Very light in body. Kind of refreshing after having a few big bold beers at Snally.

On tap at Brewery Saint X, pours a clear blonde with a small white head. Aroma reveals a nice bouquet of farmhouse yeast, light floral notes, and very gentle ester. Flavour has a decent yeast expression, with rustic saison yeast, some peppery notes, and toasted bread. Carbonation is slightly above average, which is fitting. Doesn't really strike me as an authentic saison but this is better than most American saisons.

On tap at Brewery Saint X, pours a hazy golden with a small white head. Aroma is subtle, with soft bready malt and a tiny hint of herbal notes. Flavour is clean, with bready malt, some herbaceous notes, and dry toasted nuts. Bready, dry finish. Needs more herbaceous, grassy character to really strike me as a proper helles. Decent.

On tap at Brewery Saint X, pours a hazy dark amber with a medium beige head. Aroma brings out plenty of bready malt, toasted notes, and a light earthiness. Flavour is on point, with lots of toasted bready malt, toasted grains, and light earthiness. Well-brewed, with a dry malty depth to it on the finish. Good stuff.

On tap at Brewery Saint X, pours a clear orange amber with a medium off-white head. Aroma brings out toasted caramel malt, subdued resinous hops, and candied stone fruits. Flavour is malty but not that sweet, with lots of caramel malt, bready malt, and some resinous hops. Unfortunately, there's also diacetyl in here but less egregiously than the Loud Pipes. Needs cleaning up.

On tap at Brewery Saint X, pours a hazy bright amber orange with a small white head. Aroma seems to have some diacetyl on the nose, with resinous hops and light pine. Flavour has a nice hop expression though, with piney and resinous hops, low levels of diacetyl, and bready malt. The diacetyl needs to be cleaned up but there's nice hop expression here. It's alright.
