Bottle from Speciaalbierpakket. Aroma is roasted malt, chocolate, pretty strong liquorice, with notes of mocha, caramel and coffee. Flavour is sweet with a decent roasty bitterness in the finish. Body is medium to full. Pretty decent Impie with a strong liquorice and chocolate aroma, well done.

Forgotten bottle from the closet (bbe 12/2019), a gift from Barry. Pours a jet black colour and a firm, stiff, dense mocha coloured head. Aroma's of roasted malts, mocha, umami, dark chocolate and red fruit. Retronasal follows this. Flavour is moderate roasted bitter with hints of salt and sweet. Above medium bodied. Soft carbonation. Finishes roasty bitter.

Bottle. Almost black. Maltm caramel and licorice in the aroma and flavor. Roast. Malty sweet, creamy. Milk chocolate. Nice, but too much licorice.

Bottle. Almost black. Roast, caramel and coffee in the aroma and flavor. Hint of licorice. Almost full bodied,slightly alcoholic. Carbonation is soft. Velvety mouthfeel. Nice.

Bottle at Kent BE 2019. Thick dark black beer. chocolate aroma. dark chocolate and caramel flavour. not too sweet. some tar. caramel aroma. Thick. strong good though.

Bottle shared at Maakun’s. Black with tan head. Big sweet roasted chocolate malts. Boozy, licorice, oyster shell, black ink. Big sweet and bitter bitter. Good umami bite. Seaweedy stuff. Over medium body and soft carbonation.
