Dry and bubbly. Sweeter. Doesn't taste boozy but totally is! Also, new style!

Pint Can. clear yellow gold pour with a small white head that slowly recedes. The aroma is corn and cereal grains. The taste mirrors the aroma with corn, grains, straw and hay. A bit of bitterness from deftly applies saaz and hallertau hops (I guess). The palate is medium and crisp. Finishes short and dry. Overall: Decent pils--very refreshing. Paired well with some old gouda cheese..

From Beer Drop. Canned November 30th 2021.
It pours a very dark brown with a very short lived head of foam. And I poured it as vigorously as I could.
I smell Belgian yeast and spices, dark pitted fruits, cloves, maybe a bit of raisins.
Yep. I get raisins and other dark fruits, spices like light cloves, yeast esters. A lot to absorb with the ample alcohol.
The body could be better with a little more carbonation.
Overall, good effort.

Tap at the Colfax and York location - came to try this because Westword called this one of their 30 favorite Colorado beers of 2021 - of course, they also had the Station 26 pumpkin lager on that list and I hated that one - this one is pleasantly dry for something so strong - sadly, the texture is also a bit watery - some muddled spiciness, light pepper - caramelized sugar sweetness manifests in the finish, along with some alcohol flavors - this is one of many higher abv Bruz beers where I can straight up taste the alcohol - and so many of their beers have this kind of “synthetic” quality to them that I can’t quite explain any better than using that descriptor - I think I officially give up on this place - too bad, too, because this new location is dope and not too far from my house.

Tulip at the Colfax and York taproom - dark purple, nearly black - nose of dark fruit, alcohol, not much else - flavor is somewhat similar - dark fruit and caramelized sugars, with fairly strong underlying alcohol - can’t detect much Belgian yeast character to speak of - meh.

16 oz. can. Pours black, with a small, bubbly, tan head. The aroma is chicory, dark chocolate, black pepper, and blackened lime. Dry and malty, with a touch of yeast and bitterness. Medium body, with a chalky, lightly acidic palate. This is an interesting and well made lager.

16 oz. can. Pours a pale, yellow color, with a big, frothy, white head. The nose is grapefruit, nectarines, water crackers, and Riesling. Sweet and citrusy, with a touch of yeastiness and tartness. Fairly heavy body, with a light acidity, and a chewy, thick palate. This is a fun and well made beer.

From Beer Drop.
It pours a hazy cloudy orange with an abundance of foam that never quits.
Tropical hop nose with an equally abundant nose of Belgian yeast, some spices.
The numerous hops used provide a lot of different hoppy flavours. Some tropical fruit, grapefruit, some grass, yeast with spices, even some pine. Perhaps too complex?
Good mouthfeel. Good interpretation of a Belgian IPA.
