Taster at the brewery. Pours a clear, straw color, with a small, white head. The aroma is lavender, leather, lemon oils, spruce, and raw grains. Sweet and slick, with a dank, herbal bitterness. Medium body, clingy, and thin. Fair.

Taster at the brewery. Pours black, with a small, beige head. The nose is coffee, birch, cinnamon, wet grass, and earth. A surprising, lovely coconut aftertaste. Sweet and malty, with a sticky, funky bitterness. Medium to heavy body, syrupy, and dusty. Interesting and pretty tasty.

Taster in a flight at the brewery. Pours a clear, dark, brown color, with a small, bubbly, beige head. The aroma is cherry wood, light smoky peat, juniper, caraway, and black bread. Sweet and malty, with a light touch of bitterness. Light to medium body, smooth, malty, and a bit hot. Quality, enjoyable malty beer.
