21-03-18 // 330ml bottle. Murky dark orange. Fine pored white head. Nose of esthers and hints of medical notes. Mouthfeel is creamy and fullbodied. Loads of yeast and sweet wheat malts. Banana flavours. Some more fruits. A little weird bitter finish. Not sure what I think about this.

330ml bottle [#375/980]. Opaque, darkest brown colour with average, thick, firm, frothy, diminishing, tan head - a creamy tan layer remains. Tannic, oaky, vinous, fruity and dark malty aroma, notes of morello, plum, blue grapes, leather, some dark chocolate, spicy hints of balsamico. Taste is slightly tart, dry, roasty dark malty and vinous fruity, slightly chocolately, woody, notes of blue grapes, hints of morello, a spicy touch of balsamico, leather; soft palate, gentle but effective carbonation. Well composed, harmonious - pretty nice.

09-03-18 // 330ml bottle shared. From local drinks shop. Clear amber coloured. Small white head. Malty minty nose. Taste is sweet malty, melanoid, polaris hop mint. Medium bitter. Average, not a big fan of Red Ales.

Stark hefig-fruchtiger, vergoren bananiger Antrunk. Leicht metallerner Hintergrund, der aber schnell verschwindet, hefig-alkoholisch, minimal bitter. Fein würzig, nur wenig herb, süffig. Mittellanger Nachhall. Gelungen. 11/10/11/11//11

0.33 l bottle from a trade with Maracuja05, best before December 2018, thanks Moritz! Murky, amber with a thin, frothy, almost stable, white head. Sweetish-malty, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity aroma of banana, vanilla and some clove. Quite sweet, malty, moderately yeasty-spicy and a bit fruity taste of lots of banana, vanilla, some clove and a touch of honeydew, followed by a medium long, quite bitter, moderately yeasty-spicy finish. Medium to full body, slightly creamy and moderately effervescent mouthfeel, soft carbonation. Not overly complex, a bit too harsh in the finish but very saturating, overall quite nice!

12oz bottle pours an incandescent orange with a ring of white head. Solid nose, orange, clove, chewing gum, yeast. Flavor has melon, orange soda, chewed gum, banana, clove. Finishes full bodied, sticky and a touch boozy.
