Bottle at KCBD18. Sweetish aroma. Perhaps some honey. Clear amber colour. Small white head. The flavour has a caramelly malt and hop note and a nicely spicy hoppiness as well. Tastes of noble European hops to me, more than it does of Chinook.

Bottle at KCBD18 as Sander Schokolator Imperial Stout. Almost black colour. Seems a little cloudy. Small stable dark brown head. The flavour is quite roasted. Starts off with a mild chocolate note and some metal. Turns more roasted after a while. Bready and perhaps a little vinous in the finish. Rough bitterness.

Bottle @ KCBD18. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy light tan head. Clear aroma of malt, roast and chocolate, wi touches of yeast. Bitter, roasty flavour, with notes of yeast and touches of hops and dark chocolate. Roasty aftertaste. Okay but the body is milder than expected.

Bottle @ KCBD18. Pours clear amber with airy white head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with mild notes of yeast. Sweetish, malty and estery flavour with some mild hoppy notes. Sweetish aftertaste, with hints of alcohol. Not bad for the style.

Many thanks to Beerhunter111 for sharing. Malty nose with hints of cake. The beer starts floral fresh, intense bittered with grainy hints. Round and smooth, bitter with malty hints. Nice.

33cl bottle shared with Erzengel. 2015 vintage. A clear dark amber beer with a small white head. Aroma of caramelish malt, red malt, some dried fruits. Taste of dark caramelish malt, pine needles, mild resinous hops. Good!

Sampled @CRAFT Frankfurt 2018. A very dark brown beer with a small off-white head. Aroma of roasted dark, bitter hops. Taste of dark roasted malt, coffee, citrusy bitter hops.
