Bottle shared with Aron, courtesy of hauxe, huge thanks to him! Pours black with quickly disappearing brown head. Nose is dark chocolate, cocoa powder, toasted malts, low coffee. Taste is moderately bitter earthy and roasted coffee, some chocolate again, closing with a dry finish. Light, in fact surprisingly light bodied with soft carbonation, drinks pretty easy.

Bottle picked up from Craftbier and consumed at home sat on the balcony watching Germany v Denmark Euro Championships, (Germany won 2-0) Saturday 29th June 2024. Pours black with not much of a head, cocoa and bitter chocolate. roasted malts, a touch of sweet liquorice but not at all sweet, bitterness runs through. Good, and I like it for it's simplicity, but not great.

Bottle looks really good. Beer in the glass deep black, small head. Intense roasty malty aroma. Starts intense malty, roasty, only very light chocolate notes. Woody touch. Finish well balanced. Exspected a bit more...

0,33 l bottle, think it was from kappldav123, right? Thanks a lot! Black in the glass. Huge two finger intensive foamy dark beige head. You can´t expect more. Definitive choco on the nose berry fruity background. Taste starts also with choco and berry fruity, little bit dry. Vanilla. Low carbonation as expected but not really alcoholic. Nice one.

Dark brown with a creamy beige head that lingers. Aroma full of dark chocolate and licorice. Taste is sweet with some mild, grainy bitterness and a fleeting touch of berry tartness at the end. Body to the lighter side of medium and feels lightish for the style. Texture trends slightly watery at the end. Mild carbonation. Nice apart from the slightly off palate.

Bottle: As black as ink, crowned by the usual small and stable tanned foamy layer, moderate to solid sweet-bitter toasty and nutty nose with the usual fruity, chocolatey and also mildly leathery traces; moderate to solid bitter-sweet flavour, full bodied and quite soft; delicate port- vinous traces in the lingering sweet-bitter chocolatey and nutty finish, followed by a delicate roasty bitterness in the aftertaste. Well made stuff, especially by german Kraft Bier standards...
