Description
It all started in a shed, no joke! Ian, started home brewing in his garden shed, building recipes inspired by his loved beers. We loved it, our mates loved it, the shed was bursting at the seams, it was time to move to bigger premises. In 2013 Brick was born, and we started building a brewery in a railway arch behind Peckham Rye station, SE London.

(Cask at Cock Tavern, Hackney, London, 26 Nov 2015) Black colour with frothy, beige head. Malty, roasted nose with coffee, chocolate and dark fruit. Malty, roasted taste with notes of chocolate, coffee, dark fruit, caramel and a balanced roasty bitterness. Medium body, with a touch of sweetness. Tasty and well balanced porter. Quite nice.

330ml bottle, many thanks to Scopey. Frothy beige head leaving spotty lacing behind. Clear amber coloured body, a slight haze to the last pour. Caramel, bread and orange on the nose. Fine blended taste of brown malts like bread, nuts and caramel, together with red oranges. Decent malt-fruity bitterness to the ending. Medium bodied. A very well partner to my New Year lunch (Tromsø 03.01.2016).

Scopey 10K Celebrations in deepest Croydonia. Thanks to Paul. Lightly hazy gold beer, small pale cream colour head. Palate is light and smooth with decent fine carbonation. Smooth malts, mildly sweet. Nice hops - pine, mild skunk, mellow orange and very mild lemon. A little citric peel bitterness builds. Light finish. A tidy number indeed!
