Description
It all started in a shed, no joke! Ian, started home brewing in his garden shed, building recipes inspired by his loved beers. We loved it, our mates loved it, the shed was bursting at the seams, it was time to move to bigger premises. In 2013 Brick was born, and we started building a brewery in a railway arch behind Peckham Rye station, SE London.

Keg at the Peckham Beer Rebellion - London. Pours clear gold with a creamy, off-white head. Bready malt aroma with some biscuits, lager yeast, orange rind. Light-medium sweet flavor with more bready malts, slight caramel, citrus. Light bodied with average carbonation. Finishes sweet, tasty, with more bready malts, lightly toasted biscuits, dry caramel. Somewhat basic but very drinkable.

Bottle at London Beer Lab. Deep gold with a thick white head. Very smooth mouthfeel. Mellow banana and cream. Banana milkshake in beer form. A hint of lemon in the tail end. Possibly a little too mellow for its own good at times but yeah, it’s quite drinkable.

Keg at BD CJ. It pours cloudy deep amber with a decent white head. The nose is soft, fresh, juicy, lots of orange, mandarin and tangerine, light floral and orange muffin. The taste is crisp, bitter orange, tangerine, grapefruit rind, minerals, earth and a touch of alcohol with a dry finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. Great fragrant aroma and drinks not bad either. Nice one.
