Bottle. A clear, golden beer with a dense, beige head. Quite balanced nose, maybe a bit boring, but at least it has some citrus to go with the malt and hops. Liked it a lot though. Malt and hops comes together in a nice union in the flavor as well, and also has some stock, citrus and pine. Medium to full mouthfeel and a nice finish with malt, citrus and hops. Another nice creation from Thisted, maybe the first really good one that is not a stout or similar. (070427)

Bottle courtesy of thewolf: Poured a pitch-black color porter with nice big dirty brown foamy head with good retention and lacing. Aroma of chocolate malt is well balance with dry roasted malt. Taste is a perfectly balanced mix between some chocolate malt with some coffee notes and a light bitter aftertaste. Creamy body is just about perfect but carbonation is a little bit too lively for my own taste. Very good stuff otherwise and very glad I was able to try this beer.

33 cL bottle. Pours orange golden with shortlasting white head. Aroma is malty, hay and grass but mainly yeasty barnyard (Ill never learn to appreciate this). Flavour is a sweet malt profile, buttery taste and mouthfeel, turning slight sour and going into a set of spice notes and ending rather dry/slight bitter.

Bottled. A copper colored beer with a huge orange-beige head. The aroma is sweet with a dusty hop note combined with citrus, nuts, and caramel - the citrus being quite sharp. The flavor is sweet with strong notes of toffee, but also nuts, and some citrus, leading to a dry nutty end with a light touch of metal. The mouthfeel is very sparkling due to a high carbonation level, which together with the alcohol note reminds me a bit of a glass of champagne.

Bottled. A dark red-brown beer with a huge brown head. The aroma is sweet malty with strong notes of caramel, and some burnt notes, combined with light citrusy notes. The flavor is very sweet with strong notes of caramel, and crystalized sugar, as well as some burnt notes of both malt and caramel, combined with lighter notes of dusty hops and some citrus, leading to a dry end. The alcohol is felt in the background.
