Sampled from the tap at the brewery. Pours a clear pale gold with a white head that dissipates quickly to the edges. Aroma has light straw and light citrus with a bit of light tropical fruits underlying. Flavor is thin with light tropical fruits, a bit of straw and a touch of citrus backing.

On tap at Batch, pours a clear amber, no head. Aroma reveals bready and caramely malt, with a hint of ginger and cinnamon. Flavour is similar, with bready and caramel malt upfront, followed by dry orange peel, ginger, cinnamon and booze. Not overly cohesive but pleasant enough.

On tap at Batch, pours a clear dark amber brown with a small beige head. Nose is characterized by faint coffee beans and maybe some herbal notes. Flavour is along the same lines, with gentle coffee and herbal notes. The coffee is muted and the palate lacks depth. Meh.

On tap at Batch, pours a clear dark amber with a tiny head. Aroma is quite boozy, with plenty of tequila, booze and a little agave syrup. Flavour is harsh as hell, with a very strange tequila distillate character, harsh booze, and smoky saltiness. What the hell? This isn't anything like BA tequila goses I've tried before. Harsh and barely drinkable.

On tap at Batch, pours a clear amber with a small beige head. Aroma reveals earthy hops, gentle spicy rye, and bready malt. Flavour is fruity and spicy, with gently tart red fruits, spiciness from the rye, earthy hops, and caramely malt. Jagged and rough. Not overly cohesive, but not terrible either. Mediocre.

On tap at Batch, pours black with a small tan head. Aroma is pretty tempered for such a beer, with gentle toasted malt and earthy hops. Flavour follows as expected, with cracked pepper, toasted malt, and earthy hops. Rather thin and lacking cohesion, but it's decent. Average black IPA.

On tap at Batch, pours a clear pale golden with a tiny head. Aroma is very yogurty, with lots of lacto and a hint of tart citrus. Flavour is quite similar, with tart citrus, lacto, and a hint of crisp biscuity malt. The tartness is pretty mild. Fairly authentic. Solid.

12 ounce can into tulip glass, canned in 10/2019. Pours slightly hazy/cloudy deep ruby red, light pink/purple color with a 1 finger fairly dense and fluffy light pink head with poor retention, that reduces to nothing pretty quickly. No lacing and a light amount of streaming carbonation on the glass. Good appearance. Aromas of big juicy/tart/tangy black currants, fruit skin/seed, cranberry, pomegranate, blackberry, hibiscus, strawberry, lemon, peach, plum, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, red grape/wine, peppercorn, clove, coriander, cardamom, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light banana/bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Damn nice aromas with great balance and complexity of fruity/spicy yeast, black currant, hibiscus, grains of paradise, and bready malt notes; with great strength. Taste of big juicy/tart/tangy black currants, fruit skin/seed, cranberry, pomegranate, blackberry, hibiscus, strawberry, lemon, peach, plum, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, red grape/wine, peppercorn, clove, coriander, cardamom, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light banana/bubblegum, and yeast earthiness. Light-moderate peppery yeast spiciness, and hibiscus/currant tang/tartness on the finish. Lingering notes of tart/tangy currant/skin/seed, berries, pomegranate, hibiscus, lemon, peach, plum, pear, apricot, melon, red apple, red grape/wine, peppercorn, clove, coriander, cardamom, hay, straw, herbal, floral, grass, wheat, cracker, biscuit dough, light banana/bubblegum, and yeast earthiness on the finish for a good bit. Great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, black currant, hibiscus, grains of paradise, and bready malt flavors; with a great malt/tart/tangy/spiciness balance; and no puckering, astringent flavors after the finish. Fairly crisp/clean finishing. Moderate increasing dryness from lingering tart/tangy/spiciness and carbonation. Medium-plus carbonation and light-medium body; with a very smooth and moderately grainy/acidic/tangy/tannic/sticky balanced mouthfeel that is is great. Minimal warming alcohol for 7.3%. Overall this is an excellent fruited/spiced saison. All around great complexity, robustness, and balance of fruity/spicy yeast, black currant, hibiscus, grains of paradise, and bready malt flavors; very smooth and fairly crisp/clean/refreshing to drink with the modestly spicy/acidic/tangy/tannic/drying finish. Awesome balanced juicy/jammy currants/hibiscus, spice, and Belgian yeast complexity; with a solid pale/wheat malt backbone against acidity. Minimal residual sweetness with crisp dryness. A very enjoyable offering, and impressive spot on style example as expected. Not any better than the base beer, which only had the hibiscus.
