Bottle from the tap room after enjoying a different mead. Shared at Shig's tasting. Clear, raspberry iced tea, still pour. White sugar, black tea, lemon honey nose. Taste is cooked & a little muted raspberry, raspberry sundae syrup, black tea tannins, grapefruit pith. A little rich but plenty acidic. Pretty good. Just lacks complexity.

Where do I list this beer? Extra frothy, clear, honey gold pour. Minty, eucalyptus nose, with a touch of too fresh funk that doesn't go away. Taste is semi-sweet, moderate herbal hops, high acid, confectionery, tannic, dusty-drying, half parched finish. Kinda good.

Hazy honey gold, lacy pour. Soft cereal & green strawberry nose. Fresh, sweet n tart strawberry puree, pale toasted malt, strong aspirin bitterness. Back-sweetened? Mostly dry, heavy strawberry aromatics. Kinda good.

Half pour at the source. Frothy, dull, pale gold hazy goblet. Not the most inviting. Mellow vanilla-banana yogurt nose. Obvious real banana, in a good way. Semi-sweet leaning bittersharp. Sour pineapple juice, yogurt, soft spices on the back end. Frothy, high acid, high tart, a little warming. Fun.

First stop while down for work. Default 5oz pour. Hazy, matte, still, honey amber pour. Herbal lemon honey, chamomile nose. Sweet tea, lemon, citrus honey, light calcium, lingering lemon oil. Thick & runny, abrupt tannic tea stop that steers the finish dry. Brewer says it's all in the honey & he'll never be able to replicate it; no adjuncts. Simple & very tasty.

Last pour before moving on. Matte black, cocoa head. Milk chocolate with a prick of curious orange oil. Bittersweet chocolate milk, a touch of almond, bright orange oil that isn't bigger than the chocolate. Frothy, creamy, some acidity, boozy enough. Best of the bunch. Great.

Clear, pale gold, fizzy pour at the source with my chaperone Jay. Medicinal, sweet lemon/yuzu, citronella candle, white sugar nose. Soft lemon drop, mellow acid, wax, white bitter rind, orange oil, flat finish. Decent acid, low tart, a hint of vodka. Better.

Pastel, pink guava hazy short pour smoothie at the source with Jay. Creamy, plastic, soft floral, chem, a little too round. Caramel, creme, faint strawberry chocolate, oxidation, flabby, faint carb. Medicinal & needs acid bad. Nah.
