33cl as a gift. Pours very dark brown, close to black, with a modest, but lasting, beige head. Moderate roasty aroma with mild chocolate, hints of coffee, dark fruits and some slightly wooden notes. Moderate to medium sweet with mild, but pleasant flavours, well balanced and easy to drink. Enjoyable.

Bottle at home in London - picked up at the Drinkers’ Paradise. Pours clear orange-gold with a foamy, off-whitehead. The nose holds lightly ripened citrus fruits, pine needles, crusty pale malts. Light-medium sweet flavour with more dried pale malts, rindy citrus, hints of pine, melon, crackers. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Finishes with more pale bread, white bread, citrus rind and lightly piney bitterness. So so overall.

Draught@Stadin panimobaari as Bosun’s Moustache. Poured golden color with a thin white head. Sweet malty earthy, some wild strawberries in aroma. Flavor has malts, wild strawberries, dust, sweetness and light hops. Not sure where this is going but not an IPA in my book.

Cloudy and tan. No head. This has a big coriander aroma, with a light malty backdrop. Sweet, with more of that coriander syrup sort of character. A bit yeasty, not very interesting but it’s just a fairly boring wit.
