Pours cloudy dark red, with medium, white, creamy, lasting head.
Nose is cherry, fruity-sweet, flavor is dominated by the habanero 😅 not for the faint-hearted or those with thin skin on their tongues - this beer is HOT & SPICY!!

Bottle at home. Pours black, nose is meaty, chocolate, sea salt, peat, saline, toffee, caramel, taste is rich chocolate, caramel, salty, peaty, vanilla. 8/9/9/9/9

A MUCH better beer than the previous one I had from Maktoob, especially since both cans were "DDH West Coast Pilsner". Nose was citrusy, hoppy, taste was similar to a NEIPA, but still true to a pilsner, so very interesting combination.

(Draft at Craft & Draft, Amsterdam, 27 Feb 2026) Hazy golden amber colour with frothy, off-white head. Fruity, hoppy nose with notes of tropical fruit, pineapple, papaya and herbs. Fruity taste with tropical fruit, pineapple, papaya, citrus, herbs, pine needles, white bread and a balanced citric/piney bitterness in a slightly boozy finish. Full body, quite sweet. On the strong and sweet side, but fresh and hoppy. Very nice.

Weicher, karamellig hopfiger Antrunk. Schnell deutlich herb werdend, helles Malz, grasig. Milde Süße, bitter-harzig, süffig, kernig. Ausgewogen & voluminös hopfig zum Ende, würzig, langer Nachhall. 9/10/12/11/10/11

Can from Drankenhandel Leiden. Resinous hop profile with malt, pine resin, some orange and grapefruit. Strong bitter flavour with a light to mild sweetness. Long bittersweetish conclusion. Medium body. True pine hop bitterness.
