On tap at Brewers Cooperative. Pours pale and hazy. Lots of kiwifruit, joined by plenty of lime, lemon, floral stuff, some malt acidity. A fun take on a style I’d never normally go for.

On tap at Galbraith’s. Pours hazy orange. Smells like the cows were stuck in the barn all night. Taste is pretty fantastic though. Orange, grapefruit, lemon, lots of funk and hay. Fun.

On tap at McLeod’s Pizza Barn. Pours deep red. Caramel, biscuit, smoky whisky heat. Pretty tasty, but perhaps a little too strong flavoured to get through much of it.

On tap at McLeod’s Pizza Barn. Pours deep orange red. Caramel, quite floral, little citrus. Overall a bit watery. Low carbonation (success!). Not the worst NZ bitter, but still makes me miss the homeland.

On tap at McLeod’s Pizza Barn. Pours orange gold. Orange, grapefruit, caramel, strawberry, a tonne of Belgian yeast character. Strong bitter into a sweet candy body and a long bitter finish. Great full body. Hard to argue with anything about this.

On tap at McLeod’s Pizza Barn. Pours orange. Not much to the nose. Flavour is pretty wild though. Cherry, raspberry, orange, biscuit, caramel. Really long bitter finish. Perfect balance of sweet fruit, bitterness and malt. Fantastic, and pretty exciting to find an IPA so different to the norm.

On tap at McLeod’s Pizza Barn. Pours sickly pale. Mango, sweet lemon, some malty acidity. Really crisp. Surprisingly nice.

500ml bottle. Pours amber. Caramel, pineapple, mango, orange, bit boozy. Nice, strong and bitter sweet with a clean finish. Well put together.
