Bottle, 10C. Almost black w a beige coat. Aroma is pleasingly full - syrup sweetened coffee, a little smoky roast. It is thinnish, but less so than you'd expect. But there's not enough to support the slightly acrid coffee and it tends towards tinny. But it's really very impressive for a 2.5% stout and one I'd happily drink again.

On tap at Galbraith's. Pours deep clear orange brown. Biscuit, orange, peppery, nectarine, a slight toffee presence, pine, touch of red fruit. Medium body. Pretty tasty, the red aspect helps give it a bit more flavour than the average brut IPA.

On tap at Brothers Beer CWD. Pours bright hazy orange yellow. Mango, orange juice, soft orange peel, pineapple, touch of sweet grassiness, slight bitterness in the finish. Good soft body. Good. Really good. McLeod's definitely have more competition for the NZ hazy crown than when they started this series, but they're still top dog.
