Dark brown, really nice dark malt complexity, dry finish with a toasty, chocolate note.

Near black, rich chocolate and fruit...yum...sweet, full, delicious. Whatever style you want to call it, it's a quality black ale.

Amber-brown, really nice bright fruity tip note. That manuka tip note is bright, the base amber is ok, and that.

Can. Dry nose of apple skin, minerals, light apple. Pale golden color. Fizzy, dry, simple. Ok.

Bottle. Huge spiy, resinous nose. Sweet and spicy with resins from the manuka tips. Wax, chocolate, caramel, soft body, cinnamon spice. Not my thing. Too strong in the resins.

1.3L plastic bottle from supermarket shared in our van. Bit hazy amber with off white head. Lots of butter, caramel, light fruity hops, sweet bready malts, toast, dried berries. Medium sweet and bitter. Just medium bodied. I’m not so susceptible to butter notes in beer, but here it’s very present. Otherwise OK.

Draft. A yellow beer with a white head. The aroma has notes of straw and malt. The flavor is sweet with notes of malt, straw, and fruit, leading to a bitter finish.

Bottle shared during the satellite Travlr 10K tasting at CBC Clerkenwell - London. Thanks to our NZ supplier! Pours clear gold with a creamy, white head. The nose has sweet-smelling citrus fruits, sweat, and sour berries. Medium sweet flavor with salty sweat, rotten orange and moderate acetic burn. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Sour finish with further sweaty citrus. Not terrible.
