12 oz can. Mostly clear yellow pour with a small-ish white head that soon diminishes. The aroma is faint with a bit herbs. The taste is herbs, something floral, breads, and biscuit. Bitterness is mild noble hops. Palate is light bodied and crisp. Finishes short and dry. Overall: OK Pils, but does not break any new ground in the category..

12 oz can. Pours a clear yellow with a small white head. The aroma is faint and indistinct with some faint corn. The taste is corn, grains, lemons and some breads. The palate is clean and crisp with prickly carbonation. Finishes short and dry. Overall: decent for a lager--goes down easy.

12 oz can. Pours a crystal clear light brown color with a smallish off-white head that slowly fades away. The aroma is medium in strength with lightly roasted grains, caramel and some spicey noble hops. The taste follows the nose, no surprises--lightly roasted grains, caramel and noble hops. The palate is light and crisp with lively carbonation. Finishes long and semi-sweet with caramel and hops. Overall: Decent--This is a rather enjoyable Amber/Vienna/Marzen. Goes down easy. I can see why this was a gold medal winner in its style at GABF.

12 oz can. Pours a nearly opaque dark brown color with a small beige head that soon fades to a fine scum. The aroma is strong with well roasted grains and dark fruits. The taste is more of the same, well roasted grains, dark fruits, some coffee and a bit burnt toast. The palate is full and viscous. Finishes short and dry with some lingering bitter sweet grains. Overall: Decent. Very much a classic old school type stout. paired well with Reggiano cheese

12oz can. Pours a crystal clear yellow golden color with a big sudsy white head that has fair retention and ample lacing. The aroma is medium in strength with grapefruit, lemons, guava and something floral. The taste is grapefruit and lemons and not very complex. The palate is light and the carbonation is soft. Finishes short and forgettable. Overall: Meh I'm sure this tastes better on tap at the brewery but its a bit underwhelming canned. Paired well with pretzels. --- Beer merged from original tick of India Pale Ale on 30 Dec 2024 at 14:53 - Score: Appearance - 7 | Aroma - 6 | Flavor - 6.5 | Texture - 7 | Overall - 6.5. Original review text: 12oz can. Pours a crystal clear gold color with a small white head that soon recedes. The aroma is medium in strength with grapefruit and candied melons. The taste is rather mild with sweet citrus notes and some bitter pine on the back end. The palate was thin and crisp. Finished short and forgettable. Overall: Meh. I am surprised tiny Crested Butte has a brewery that cans beer. I suspect that this is better at the source and on tap.
