Bottle at camping Paimpont. Pils malts, bready, fresh dough, flowery hops, fresh yeast, honey, grass. Just medium sweet and almost medium bitter. Just medium bodied. Nothing special, but it’s clean and goes down well.

Tap at Le Gringo in Lannion. Clear golden with white head. Clean malts, fresh bread crust, soft grassy hops, dough, soft honey, caramel. Almost medium sweet and bitter. Crisp medium body. Very decent pils.

Bottle 33 cl. Pours an almost clear amber with a white head. Nose is sweet caramel and toffee. Rich, sweet, malty body - again dominated by caramel and toffee. No Belgian esters, no peppery spiciness, no hops, all of which disqualifies it from being a real Triple. But as some generic, sweet Strong Ale it's very drinkable and even enjoyable. 030719

Bottle 33 cl. Pours a clear, deep golden with an off-white head. Sweet malt, a little perfumy hops, and a hint of Belgian yeast in the nose. Rich, sweet, malty body, some overripe fruit, nuts. Very soft on the palate. Very subdued hops. Decent enough. 310519
