On tap at Violet's Venom.
Pours clear light golden with a medium sized off-white head, light lacing. Butter, pine resin, zesty.
Odd, it seems old at firstbut it not all bad.

Ok, this is a bit old when I'm tasting it. But here goes. It's a light amber colour, and hazy. Thin head. Toasty, somewhat mushroomy aroma. Honestly, given that fungus is a key ingredient in every beer I'm surprised I don't get more mushroomy notes. This has a chewy character, a bit of that kveiky thing, some woody hops with a slight orange note. Definitely not fresh. But seems like a decent IPA if you could find it fresh.

Lemon and bread yeast. Some florals. Pours copper with good head and lacing. Light tang in the finish, some sweet banana bread. Nice for uncommon style. Can.

Pours a cloudy brownish color, huge foaming khaki head spills over but then fades quite quickly. Nose is heavy on sweet and candied malt, a touch doughy. Flavor similar, more dough and yeast, sweet to semi-sweet, caramel and molasses, a light hint of a dark fruit, hard to specify, maybe a sweet bruised apple or pear, or maybe their commercial description of orchard fruit is leading me on. Leans also into fig or date territory but not quite the way certain belgian styles do. Very light phenols round out the finish, just a hint of clove. Heavy overall palate, but not cloying or harsh. So refreshing to find a beer that isn't a heavily fruited sour or hazy IPA.

16 oz. can from The Bat Cave. Pours a crystal clear orange-bronze color with a large khaki head and very good retention. A few spots of lacing. Lots of streaming bubbles. Light pumpkin pie spices aroma. The taste follows the nose: Light pumpkin pie spices flavor, with a little more clove than I prefer. Not as sweet as I expected either. Medium body and medium-light carbonation. Not bitter. Smooth and clean. Decent.

Stemware @Whippoorwill. Pretty, jellied medium amber, sticky froth. Sticky caramel, a touch smokey, varnish, no spice/no pepper. Taste is hammy, earthy, slight acidity, semi-sweet, buttery toast, flabby, whatever abv, low carb. Kinda not great.
