330ml can into pint glass. Sweet malt nose with a little pepper and a whiff of tropical fruit. Slightly hazy amber beer with a thick egg white head. Light patchy lacing. Smooth texture, flat mouthfeel. Tastes a bit like weak fruit cordial. Finish has some lingering tangy bitterness. It's just OK but my god, can you drink it quick! Super-quick and easy quaffer.

(Bottle) Pours clear very dark brown with thin tan head. Intense aroma. It took me straight back to my childhood - some medicine, either an antiseptic mouthwash or some ointment for calming bruises. Behind that there is some toffee and maybe vanilla. Medium bodied and fizzy. Sweet, bordering too sweet, if it weren't for all the other intense tastes. The antiseptic is the next most dominant taste. There's some cola notes, and others that are not sufficiently distinct to be identifiable through the heavy cloak of sweetness and antiseptic. Interesting, but probably wouldn't choose it again

From a 330ml bottle on 5/1/2018. Pours a dark golden with a small head. The aroma is a bit fruity with light grass. Flavour wise, it has a bit of caramel malt, some citrus fruit sweetness, and some herbal hops.Medium bodied with moderate carbonation. A pretty flavoursome golden ale. A fair bit better than I expected.

Bottle. Amber with a dense white head that lasts OK. Syllabub-like citrus aroma with some butterscotch and herbal notes. Light bodied. Sweet and vague with biscuit and butterscotch before citrus and bitterness struggle a little to cut through. Poor.

330ml bottle into shaker. Fruity, malty, biscuity nose. Cloudy golden bronze beer with a thin white frothy head. Medium carbonation. Lightly bitter, spritzy and refreshing. The finish is lightly bitter with a hint of lemon. Nice, certainly easy-drinking.

330ml bottle(with its own brown paper bag). Poured into lager glass. Smells of malt and pepper. Beautiful Golden beer with small solid white head and many tiny bubbles. Good body, finish is malt, some grain, peppery hops and late fruity caramel. Quite subtle and pleasant, a superior lager.

Disappointed after the wrap from Fothers. Didn’t really get much cascade hops, skimping boys? Some malt coming through.

(Bottle) Clear golden with small short-lived head. Aroma is grassy, slightly metallic with hints of candy. Light body with good amount if fine carbonation. Taste is simple and basic, but within that constraint quite reasonable. There’s a nice balance of some light malt sweetness and some light tartness, with some reasonable hoppy bitterness to finish. Simple, refreshing and easily drinkable. [The paper bag was beige / tan with an interesting logo printed in dense black ink. The aroma was papery. The body was very substantial, it was thick paper with a rough to fluffy surface. I omitted to taste the bag, so cannot comment on the flavour other than surmising it would be similar to the aroma. The bag was well matched to the bottle, rendering it essentially useless for repurposing, however, in its context, it rates very highly on the hedonic scale.]
