Tap into a snifter with black with wine red rims with sparse white foam. Nose is mossy petrified wood. The palate is light bodied and moderately carbonated. Strongly tart. Barely any notes of anything else due to extreme tartness.

Sampled on draft this beer poured a slightly hazy orange-honey color with a medium sized creamy off white head that left good lacing. The aroma was faint but sweetish with toffee and a hint of fruity hops. The flavor was toffee, tobacco, caramel, wood, cedar, pine and fruity hops. Long finish. Moderately full bodied. Alcohol well controlled. Ok.

The aroma was malty, wheaty and had a bread crust note with a bit of phenol and spice. The flavor was bitter and malty with bread crust, toffee and phenol elements. Lon finish. Medium body. Ok.

Poured from a 750 ml bottle. Aroma has a light acidity with hints of citrus and yogurt. Light to medium light wheat notes. Light fruit esters. Pours a hazy, pale golden color with a large, frothy, white head that recedes fairly quickly. No lacing or legs. Flavor has a medium light sweetness that is nicely balanced with the moderate acidity. Some light lemon lime citrus notes with a touch of a yogurt flavor as well. Medium light wheat notes with some light tropical fruit esters. Mouthfeel is light bodied with medium high carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, a nice Berliner. Clean acidity with some unfermented sugars to balance it. Nice fruit esters and a good amount of wheat in the flavor and aroma.

12oz can pours a hazy amber with some clumpy, lacing white head. Nose is OK, some dried orange peel, some stale malt, light caramel, a little soap, some kumquat. Flavor is punchy with orange, kumquat and a little grapefruit rind, nothing superb there though, some malt, brown sugar. Medium bodied, bitter finish. Just OK.

Draft Extreme Beer Fest 2016. Dirty brown in color with some lasting tan color head. Aroma is bold tart raspberries, light level of funk with very mild grain.
Flavor is mostly tart and funky berry with a mildly sour finish. Not over the top sourness, which I am thankful. Itβs subtle funk. Body is lighter with a crisp carbonation level. This could be a nice introduction to somebody who doesnβt know anything about sours ales. Its mild and if the brewery makes it again it is worth a try for sure.
