Keg at CBC St. Giles - London. Pours clear yellow-gold with a tight, creamy white head. Nice juicy and jammy citrus in the snout, some big pine. Light to medium sweet flavour with lots of bready, pae malts, low bitterness, ripe citrus, mellow piney bitterness. Medium bodied with fine carbonation. Finishes with light alcohol warmth, small piney resin, more ripening citrus. Surprisingly dry. So so overall.

Keg at Craft, Covent Garden, Saturday 8th April 2017 the rest of the gang had gone home now leaving just me and Loz. Nice beer, pours with a reasonable clarity with a thin white rim. There is quite a pushy bitterness, goes to dryness swiftly. It’s fine and certainly didn’t come across as an 8% beer. A6 A4 T7 P3 Ov14 3.4

Bottle at home, 21/03/17. Hazed orange amber with a well appointed off white head. Nose is orange wine gums, bread dough, melon, straw, citric sherbets. Taste comprises caramel malts, orange marmalade, light mango, apricot, lemon rind, toasted grains, soft bread. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close with a splash of hop bitterness. This is no hop monster but a really well made, older skool type of APA ... easily crushable and an all round mellow fellow. Could session on !
