33cl bottle. Poured a murky medium brown with a frothy white head. The aroma is grainy sweet chocolate malt. The flavour is moderate bitter with a light crisp yeasty, floral hop bitter palate. Medium bodied with average carbonation.

Keg at Cock Tavern. It pours clear golden - amber with a medium white head. The aroma is soft, sweet, tropical fruits, pine, resin and tutti frutti ice-cream. The taste is crisp, dry, bitter, grassy, pine, resin, grapefruit, pithy action and black tea with a drying finish. Medium body and moderate carbonation. Rather decent. Drinks easy for style.

Keg at the Waterloo Tap, 14/10/16. Rich chestnut brown with a decent light beige cap. Nose is a little thin, brown bread, grains, hint of toffee, biscuit. Taste improves with biscuit malt, light charr, faint pine, earthy red berry, toffee. Medium bodied, fine carbonation, semi drying close dashed with light earthy hop bitterness. Decent enough brown.

Bottled. Hazy golden colour with a mediumsized creamy white head, which leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, freshly cut grass, some zest, citrus, mild herbs and wooden notes. Flavour is citrus, some grass, yeast/spices and some mild hay and sweet malty notes. OK balanced, but not very IPA like in the flavour. More like a wellhopped Belgian ale.

Keg at the Euston tap. An opaque chocolate brown coloured pour with a lasting light tan head. Aroma is nutty, earthy, powdered choc, pine needle, faint citrus. Flavour is composed of rounded layered brown bread, toast and chocolate malts, earthy pine, vanilla. Palate is medium bodied, highish carbonation, mineral. Lingering earthy chocolate powder, cakey malts and vanilla. Pretty good.

Keg at Euston Tap. It pours dirty gold with a decent white head. The aroma is fresh, sweet, juicy, peachy, tangerine, loads of gummy bears, candy, marshmallow, pink candy mice and bubblegum. The taste is dry, bitter, pretty zesty, orange peel, grapefruit, waxy peel, peppery spice, some astringency with a pretty dry, citrusy finish. Medium body and moderate, prickly carbonation. The aroma really stands out on this one. Good fun.
