Bottle at Dishoom, Kings Cross - London. Pours clear gold with a quick-fading white head. Bready malts in the nose, some orange, pine, tangerine. Medium sweet flavor with bready sugars, faint caramel, piney hops, ripening citrus fruits, orange. Medium bodied with average, spritzy carbonation. Finishes sweet and bready, with more citrus fruits, more orange, tangerine, melon. Great stuff. Well balanced, very drinkable. More on the sweet side as opposed to bitter, which I think works well with food. Nice one.

330ml bottle. Minimally cloudy, orangey, depp golden to amber colour with small to average, frothy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Cautious, grassy and piney hoppy aroma, a fruity touch of orange and mandarine. Taste is dry, grassy hoppy; mineral and chalky finish.

330ml bottle. Clear chestnut colour with small to average, frothy to creamy, half-way lasting, minimally lacing, beige head. Sweet-ish, nuttily and grainy, malty aroma, a touch of nougat. Taste is dry, nuttily malty, hints of hazelnut and pecan, grassy hoppy interludes and overtones with cautious fruity hints of apple and apple paring, some watery passages as well. Slightly inhomogeneous and wavering, but quite nice overall.

330ml bottle. Clear, orangey golden colour with average, frothy to creamy, fairly lasting and lacing, white head. Piney and citrusy hoppy aroma, hints of orange, mandarine, grapefruit, (candied) lemon and orange zest, caramel malty background. Taste is bone dry, bitter hoppy, slightly chalky; clear-cutting on the fruity side, not many survivals on the malty side. Hop bitterness settles like an insecticide with disastrous sterilising effect.

Soapy hoppy aroma, minimally nuttily malty background, cautious doughy yeasty overtones. Taste is dry, soapy hoppy, hints of bitter fruit parings, minimally nuttily malty background, very subtle sweetness, diluted toffee, a touch of red berries. Total mess.

Tap at BD CJ. It pours hazy deep - orange amber with a small white head. The nose is soft, stewed orange, brown bread, fruit cake, caramelized sugars and toasted cereal. The taste is sweet, toasty grain, cereal, oily, sticky, strewed orange/peach, alcohol boost and spice with a dry, warming finish. Medium body and fine carbonation. Not a whole lot of depth and bit boosty. OK, but far from refined....
