Taster at the brewery - clear copper pour - mild nose of bread and light pepper - flavor lacks complexity and is mostly dominated my a dry maltiness, with very limited yeast expression, aside from a touch of pepper on the tail end which might actually be more from the hops - a tiny bit of apple as it opens up - I would not guess this was a Saison going in blind.

10 ounce at the brewery - turbid gold - nose of clove, white pepper, banana - creamy texture, with a frothy mouthfeel - sweet up front, with notes of pear and apple - phenols of clove through the middle leading to a complex white pepper spiciness in the finish - a very well-executed rendition.
