Semmi hab, borostyán szín, szűretlen. Enyhe, alig azonosítható illatok, csak a búzasörös jegyeket érzem ki belőle. Búzasörös, kamillateás ízvilág, némi korianderrel. A narancshéjat alig érzem, ha nem tudnám hogy van benne, nem ismerném fel. Közepesen testes, mégis könnyed, erősen szénsavas, enyhén keserű. Kellemes sör, visszafogott fűszerezéssel.

Bottle shared at a tasting at Max’s place. Thanks Nir A. for this bottle! Hazy yellow. Aroma of fruity esters, mild spiciness, yeast. Flavor is slightly sweetish, fruity, slightly spicy, with a bitterish finish, Medium-bodied. Quite pleasant.

Kicsi, nem túl tartós hab, Borostyán szín, szűretlen. Enyhe illatok, kis animalitás, fűszerek, talán egy pici narancs. Íze kevésbé animális, mint a 15-é, narancs, hajszálnyi édesség, markánsabb komló. Ez is közepesen testes, de jóval szénsavasabb és valamivel keserűbb. Ez sem sikerült rosszul, de a 15-ös jobban bejött. Az előző verzió konvencionálisabb, ez egy kissé formabontó.

Hatalmas, tartós hab, borostyán szín, szűretlen. Illata gabonás, citrusos-savanykás, pici narancshéjjal. Gabonás, kissé animális, mandarinos, fűszeres ízvilág. Közepesen testes, enyhén szénsavas és keserű. Jól sikerült, jellegzetes saison.

Thanks Riba! Medulin fest. Misty yellow body. Creamy aroma, banana, citrus, light funk. Creamy taste, going dry, again a beautiful balance of banana, light herbal notes and light grainy funk. Extremely classic, really lovely. Prvo Viško Pivo’s saison won the people’s award at the festival, kinda surprisingly (though not because of its quality, as it’s great), and this is en par with it at least. Hats off Mad Scientist, you’ve made a beautiful beer!

2017 rerate. Bottle, thanks Zvone. Clear full amber body, relatively lasting big white head. Tropical and slightly citric aroma, quite nice really, on top of a lean malty, bit caramelly backbone. Taste... tropical and citric soft touches, with an unappealing vague rubbery note annoying me from the finish. Vaaaaague tart touch. Dunno... even this time - this obviously shows potential and shoots itself in the foot somehow - which I've experienced so many times from these guys. Very nice ideas, sometimes superb execution, but more commonly... just something, something stops them from fulfilling their potential. Pity. A huge amount of hops, which is obvious, but not in the way I like. The same continues on into the taste, huge herbal/spicy hoppiness balanced out well with a sweet malty backbone though. Solid beer, but I’d hoped for more. 6/3/7/4/14

On tap at the Medulin fest. Thanks... someone? Muddy ochre body with a light white head. Predominantly banana in the taste with light vanilla. More banana and more vanilla in the smooth, sweetish, creamy, mild taste. This is exactly what they say it is, and so it’s great. And yeah, I’ve recommended it successfully to a friend who "doesn’t like beer". Hats off, very well executed!
