Aroma’s wet grain and sweet pale malt. Flavor’s more bitter than sweet, aftertaste of wet grain and bittersweet.

Can. Grass, orange peel, and caramel malt aroma. Hazy golden yellow with moderate head. Moderately sweet orange caramel malt, and moderately bitter floral orange peel flavor. Good body. Straight forward but pretty nice.

Pour is a dark golden with a small white head. Aroma is a fruity mosaic hop and not much beyond that. Flavor is a bitter and herbal hop. This is fine as a IPA but this is supposed to have chocolate and coffee in it and I got neither in the aroma or flavor. As an IPA this is fine I just wish the flavor adjuncts would have showed up more.

Poured from a 12 oz can dated 02/2017. Aroma is initially very hoppy with lots of tropical fruit and citrus notes: mango, guava, melon and orange. Light cracker malt notes with hints of biscuit as well as some very faint chocolate and roast notes. Pours a slightly hazy, golden orange with a medium large, moderately thick, white head that recedes to a thin film that lingers in clumps on the edges. Moderately high lacing and small legs. Flavor is somewhat sweet with some cracker malt and biscuit notes and a medium high bitterness. Some tropical fruit and citrus notes with some light resin and pine notes. Fruity notes are mango, orange, grapefruit and melon. Faint hints of chocolate and roast in the finish. Mouthfeel is medium bodied with medium carbonation. Low astringency and low alcohol warmth. Overall, I wasn’t sure what to expect before I opened the can, but I am pleasantly surprised; that surprise is because the beer doesn’t really smell or taste of chocolate and coffee. Just a solid IPA where I wouldn’t even know there was coffee or chocolate in it unless I was told to look for it.

Whoa, this stuff is super good! Or Roma’s massive fresh hops and caramel malt. Flavor is like nose, matches the profile of mosaic hops and finishes bitter but not overly so.

Tap at brewery. Pours reddish. Aroma is licorice and dark fruit. Flavor is dark fruit, light chocolate, alcohol, glue. Does not hide the alcohol but it is 11%. Solid. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Tap at brewery. Golden, clear. Aroma of grasses. Flavor is crisp grasses, bitter malt and some foliage. The menu says it's a pils. That makes more sense than the Vienna lager I saw online. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone
