[44cl can at the Hour Glass in New Plymouth.] A bright golden amber pour with a thick white head; tropical fruit aroma; and a tropical fruit taste with an oily mouthfeel and malty body; finishing with a resinous bitterness. More an NZ IPA than West Coast in style.

Can, this one is 6.3%. Amber with a good cm of white head that's soon a coat. Lots of caramel in the aroma with tenor register citrus. Taste is sweet and follows the aroma with some butterscotch and pine. Medium bitterness.

Half pint, cask clearly, pours a transparent burnt orange with some clumpy, white head. Nose has orange, soap, tea, maybe some white grape. Flavor has some bitterness off the top, orange, soap, grapefruit, tea, treacle too. Finishes a bit watery. You'd think it was pub ale, but its a half step above. 6 3 7 3 12
