Bottle. Color: Slightly hazy golden, white head. Aroma: Grainy, yeasty hints. Taste: Sweetish, malty, grainy, yeasty notes, floral and lightly citrus fruit hoppy backbone. Somewhat more bittery finish. Ok Blond overall, I like the more hoppy finish. Don't get anything of the (gimmick) beetles though. Medium body, average carbonation. Starting moderate to over moderate sweet, finishing more to the over moderate bitter side.

Bottle at home shared with Joes. Opaque dark brown color, red hue coming through when held into to the light, medium sized off-white head. Smell and taste malts, sweetish malty notes, soft toasted malts, chocolate notes, a bit earthy, sweet notes. Not bad. Glad I didn't taste the worms that are supposed to be in there. Pretty decent.

Geprobeerd met LiekevdV en Roelzie op het Nederlands Speciaalbier Festival in den Bosch. Het is een diep donkerbruin bier met een medium beige schuim. Het heeft een aroma van gebrande mout en koffie. De smaak is vol, koffie en chocolade. Drinkt gevaarlijk lekker weg.
