Tap at RJ (backlog). Very simple polotmavy centered around the caramel malt which lends it colour. Not much else to find here, good simple beer.

(bottle) Clear, golden colour with a short foamy white head. Sweet pale malty nose with a distinctive note of walnuts and woody hops. Malty and waltnut-like taste; medium bodied with a calm carbonation. Rather dry and nutty finish. Strange but interesting and likeable brew (12.08.08).

(bottle) Clear, deep golden colour with a mid-sized, cream-coloured foamy head. Sweet and slightly sugary, subtle fruity and bready nose with a discreet woody hoppy touch. Well-rounded bready, cara-malty sweetness with an aromatic herbal and woody hoppy bitterness; smooth and well-matured mouthfeel; quite dry malt-accented finish with a balanced hoppy touch (12.08.08).

Bottle: Clear, deep golden, lazy carbonation, small persistent white foamy layer; the usual sweet-malty nose shows up, combined with a very distinctive aroma of walnuts and walnut-shells; moderate bitter-sweet flavour, relatively light bodied; bitter-sweet finish with - again- a distinctive aroma of walnuts. Unusual, but really interesting..........

(6/25/08) Draught at Pivni Galerie in Prague. Deep golden color with a small white head. Aroma has some butterscotch, some malt and a hint of hops. Sweetish flavor with some malt, butterscotch and some light bitterness in the finish. Light-bodied. Not very pleasant.
