Bottled 500ml. -brought home from Česky Pivni Festival, Praha. Red/pale brown coloured, medium sized tan head, malty fruity nose. Sweet malty, fruity and alcoholic with dry chestnut hint in the finish. Simple and nice doppelbock.

Bottle that ogivlado got in Prague and shared with me (thanks!) Wow, this is really rare. Poured a blood red body with a big thick tan head, lovely appearance. Dry malty nose, bit sweet, honey and wood. Dry and sweet malty taste, bit fruity (peach). The dryness is strange in some way (which it gets in at first heh), not as strong as strange, but once I got used to it, this doppelbock turned out to be one of the better ones I’ve ever had. A very nice find!

Bottle. Sour barley malt aroma with a hint of lemon. Pale yellow color with small head. Crisp, lightly sweet lemon peel and even lighter malt. Light, clean tasting beer - nothing spectacular but not bad.

Bottle: Golden, mid-sized creamy&lacy head; sweet pale-malty, honeyish nose with a mild, but distinctive dash of "woody" hops; moderate sweet-bitter flavour, medium bodied; slightly lingering sweet pale-malty finish, rounded by a mild hoppy bitterness. Archetypal, good Festbier.....

Bottle from Quack-Duck, thanks! Pale godlen color. Malty grassy aroma. Malty, grassy flowery flavor with a touch of butter. Pleasant soft but persistant hopbitterness in the aftertaste. Medium bodied, well balanced.

Bottle. Deep golden fine carbonation, big creamy lacing head. Fresh spicy and herbal cookie malt aroma. Enters the palate from the sweet side, a few walnuts spinkled on top, aromatic, peppery and grassy hops finish it off. Chewy fullbodied, a hint stickyness.

Bottle: Golden, hazy, medium-sized - slowly collapsing - white creamy head; light to moderate yeasty-wheaty nose with a tinge of cloves; moderate sweetish-sourish flavour, quite soft, medium bodied; increasing lemony sourness towards the fruity-wheaty finish. O.K. Weizen..........

Bottle: Golden, small foamy layer; dry grassy nose with some traces of malt and hops; light to moderate bitter-sweet flavour, light bodied; light cardboardy traces in the sweetish-bitter finish, delicate hoppy aftertaste. Drinkable, but there are better Pilseners in Bavaria.......
